Who is Carmen Kane?

At the heart of my art is one simple truth: I’m a horror nerd through and through, obsessed with the monsters, gore, and behind-the-scenes wizardry of horror films and games. In my practice, I fell in love with body casting as a way to both mirror and distort my own form in various horrifying displays. My mission through my work is to thrill, repulse, delight, and disorient—often all at once.
